CTE Second – Year Students Conduct Reading Skill Workshop Training

On October 14, 2026, second-year students of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) conducted a workshop on teaching reading skills at Iyaman Hall. The activity aimed to equip future educators with effective teaching strategies and provide hands-on experience in demonstration teaching.

The workshop supports Project ALISTO, in collaboration with Puguis Elementary School, and the newly added extension project BALLASIW, both of which aim to help improve elementary learners reading skills.

Licensed teachers from CCCD’s basic education faculty, including the CTE dean, shared their knowledge and expertise in teaching young learners. Through active student participation, the workshop became a lively and meaningful learning experience, preparing future educators to promote literacy in the community.
