Cordillera Career Development College Celebrates 67 Successful Passers Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC), under the College of Business Education and Administration – Hospitality Management Program, proudly celebrates the successful completion of the Cookery National Certificate II (NC II) Assessment held at BSBT College Inc.
A total of 68 Hospitality Management students participated in the assessment, demonstrating
their knowledge, skills, and competencies in various areas of commercial cooking and food
preparation. Out of the 68 candidates, 67 students successfully passed the assessment, while
one student was declared Not Yet Competent (NYC).
The impressive 98.59% passing rate reflects the dedication, perseverance, and commitment of
the students in developing the technical skills required in the hospitality and culinary industry.
The assessment provided the students with an opportunity to demonstrate their competence in
essential cookery tasks, including proper preparation and handling of ingredients, cooking
techniques, food presentation, sanitation, and safety practices, and maintaining quality standards
in food production.
The successful results also highlight the continuous efforts of the Hospitality Management
Program in providing students with hands-on learning experiences and industry-relevant
training. Through laboratory activities, practical exercises, demonstrations, and skills development, students were prepared to meet the competency standards required for the Cookery
NC II qualification.
The assessment held at BSBT College Inc. served as an important milestone in the students’
academic and professional journey. Earning a National Certificate II strengthens their
qualifications and provides them with greater opportunities for employment and further skills
development in the hospitality, food service, and culinary industries.
