The CCDC Admirals Sports Department extends the benefits of sports beyond the campus by making its facilities accessible to local schools, government agencies, families, and the general public. Through this sharing of resources, Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) supports not only the development of its student-athletes but also the physical fitness, recreation, and overall well-being of the wider community.
Throughout 2025, CCDC accommodated various sports activities and events in its three main sports facilities: Tupay-ya Gymnasium, the venue for basketball, table tennis, and combative sports; JMM Hall, for volleyball, dance sports; and Iyaman Hall, for arnis and badminton. These facilities hosted school-based and inter-school athletic competitions, including the Zone Meet in September, District Meet in October, Provincial Meet in December, and Regional Meet in February.
Demonstrating its commitment to community service, CCDC provided an estimated 290 hours of free facility use to the public school education sector and local government units, benefiting approximately 1,250 young athletes. The facilities supported various sports and physical activities, including basketball, volleyball, arnis, dancesport, table tennis, badminton, and boxing.
CCDC recognizes that access to safe and suitable sports facilities can help local communities expand opportunities for participation in sports. Accordingly, selected facilities are made available free of charge, particularly for athletic meets and sports activities organized by local schools within the municipality. Discounts are also extended to selected regular facility users and employees to encourage continued participation and make sports activities more affordable. Other individuals and organizations may request facility use through formal letters, subject to institutional policies, approval procedures, and availability.

Alongside accessibility, CCDC prioritizes the safety and security of everyone using its facilities. Through proper facility maintenance and appropriate security measures, the College strives to provide a welcoming environment where athletes, students, employees, families, and community members can participate in sports, develop their skills, and build meaningful connections.
Through these initiatives, the CCDC Admirals Sports Department strengthens the College’s partnership with the local community. By opening its facilities to broader public use, supporting local athletic events, and encouraging recreational activities, CCDC contributes to promoting active lifestyles, sportsmanship, camaraderie, and community solidarity.
More than a place to play, CCDC is a partner in building a healthier and more connected community. By sharing its sports facilities and resources, the College reaffirms its commitment to making sports more accessible and creating opportunities for people to come together through physical activity, teamwork, and a shared passion for sports.
