The Guidance and Counseling Office of Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) distributed copies of the KAYAK Series: How to Row Your Boat – Student’s Survival Guidebook to students across the college’s different departments as part of its continuing efforts to provide holistic student support.
The initiative aims to equip students with a practical resource to help them navigate their academic, personal, and social experiences. Through the guidebook, students are encouraged to develop resilience, strengthen their sense of self, and face the challenges of student life with confidence, guided by the empowering message, “Kayak! (I can).”
The distribution involved the different departments of CCDC, with deans, department heads, and coordinators assisting in the dissemination of the materials to their respective students. Faculty members were also encouraged to guide learners in understanding and applying the lessons and objectives of the guidebook in their daily lives.
Through this initiative, the Guidance and Counseling Office reinforces its commitment to promoting student well-being, personal growth, and positive coping strategies. The KAYAK Series serves as a reminder that students can face challenges with courage, seek support when needed, and take meaningful steps toward their personal and academic goals.
CCDC continues to strengthen its guidance programs and student support services, recognizing the importance of helping learners grow not only academically but also personally and socially.
