The celebration was organized by the Events Management and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences,
and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E.) classes of the CBEA Department, providing students with an opportunity to
apply their classroom knowledge and practical skills in planning, coordinating, and implementing an actual event. Through their dedication, creativity, and teamwork, the student organizers helped bring the celebration to life, demonstrating the importance of collaboration, effective event management, and shared responsibility.
The successful execution of the event was further made possible through the invaluable assistance and support of the fourth-year Entrepreneurship (Entrep) and BPP 1 classes. Their collective contributions strengthened the spirit of cooperation among the participating classes and
reflected the importance of working together toward a common goal.
Elegance took center stage as students embraced the occasion by showcasing their carefully selected outfits inspired by the event’s classic and sophisticated concept. The venue transformed into a vibrant gathering of style and self-expression, with participants confidently presenting their interpretations of timeless elegance. One of the highlights was the Old Money-inspired fashion
segment, which celebrated classic fashion, refined styling, and confidence. Selected students wearing special sashes graced the stage, adding distinction to the occasion. Their coordinated formal attire and poised presentation complemented the event’s elegant atmosphere, making the fashion showcase a memorable part of the afternoon.

The beautifully designed stage and runway further enhanced the celebration. The carefully arranged
decorations, elegant backdrop, and lighting created a fitting setting for the
program, fashion presentations, and photographs that captured the spirit of the event.
Beyond fashion and festivities, the CBEA Acquaintance Party also provided an opportunity to recognize academic excellence and celebrate significant milestones within the college community.A notable highlight was the recognition of Ms. Charlene Mae B. Their recognition added a memorable touch to the afternoon’s celebration of confidence, style, and timeless
elegance. The celebration became even more lively through the intermission performances presented by the different student blocks. Each performance offered an opportunity for students to demonstrate their creativity, talents, teamwork, and enthusiasm, bringing energy and entertainment to the audience. The runway presentations were equally captivating, as the models confidently showcased their elegant looks before the crowd.
Together, the performances and fashion segment reflected the diverse talents and personalities of CBEA students, making the event more than just a formal gathering.More importantly, the acquaintance party created a welcoming space for students from different
programs and year levels to meet, interact, and establish new friendships. Through shared experiences and collective participation, the celebration strengthened the
sense of belonging and unity within the CBEA community.
For the Events Management and M.I.C.E. classes, the celebration also served as a valuable learning experience beyond the classroom. Organizing the event allowed students to put event planning principles into practice, coordinate with different groups, manage event components, and contribute to the successful delivery of a college-wide celebration. It demonstrated how teamwork, creativity, leadership, and effective coordination are essential in the events and hospitality
industries. Ultimately, the CBEA Acquaintance Party 2026–2027 was more than a celebration of fashion and elegance. It was an opportunity to welcome another academic year
with renewed enthusiasm, recognize achievements, appreciate individual talents, and strengthen the bonds that unite the college community.
Through the leadership and efforts of the Events Management and M.I.C.E. classes, the support of the
participating classes, and the collective involvement of the CBEA community, the event became a meaningful expression of teamwork, school spirit, and shared aspirations. The celebration concluded with a buffet dinner shared by everyone, providing a warm and enjoyable opportunity for students, faculty, and participants to gather, connect, and celebrate together.
