Project AGOS: Advocating Green Order and Sustainability

On May 11, 2026, at Ambongdolan, Tublay, Benguet, the CCJE CP2 conducted Project AGOS: Advocating Green Order and Sustainability. This initiative was designed not only as a one-time clean-up drive but also as a long-term environmental stewardship program that promotes community participation, ecological responsibility, and sustainable waste management practices.

The project aims to cultivate lasting behavioral change among participants and stakeholders by encouraging proper waste disposal, waste segregation, recycling, and environmental awareness. To ensure sustainability, the project seeks to establish partnerships with local government units, barangay officials, schools, youth organizations, and environmental groups in support of continuous clean-up and monitoring activities within the target area. Information campaigns and environmental awareness programs were also conducted to strengthen community involvement and responsibility toward environmental preservation.

During the activity, the participants cleaned the roadway leading to the barangay, cleared natural obstructions that could hinder water flow, and collected and segregated waste within the community. Through these efforts, the participants learned the importance of nationalism by offering service and support to the community. They also developed leadership skills by working collaboratively and taking initiative within their respective teams. Furthermore, the activity enhanced their communication skills, helping boost their confidence and teamwork abilities.

Project AGOS serves as a reminder that environmental protection is a shared responsibility and that small collective actions can contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable community.
