The Commission on Higher Education โ Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) in partnershipย with ย Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC), successfully conducted the S.T.R.E.A.M. 2026 Forum, titled โAchieving a Regional Expanded and Integrated Higher Education Data,โ on April 7โ8, 2026 at the Admiralโs Park Event Center, Admirals Park, Lamtang,Puguis, ย La Trinidad, Benguet.. The event gathered key stakeholders from higher education institutions, government agencies, and partner organizations to advance data-driven collaboration and strengthen regional data systems.
Anchored on the framework of Stewardship, Timeliness, Research, Excellence, Alignment, and Management (S.T.R.E.A.M.) and guided by the COIN methodologyโCollection, Organization, Integration, and Navigabilityโthe forum emphasized the importance of data readiness and effective data utilization in enhancing policy development, institutional planning, and SDG-aligned reporting.
The program featured presentations from distinguished speakers representing CHED, PSA, DOLE, DOST, and other agencies, who shared insights on higher education data integration, the regional education statistical landscape, industry-academe collaboration, research and innovation, and data governance. Discussions also highlighted the role of data in strengthening both local and international institutional visibility and responsiveness.
A key highlight of the forum was the presentation, adoption, and signing of the โManifesto to Achieve,โ reflecting a unified commitment among stakeholders to promote sustainable data governance and collaboration across the region. The event also coincided with CCDCโs 33rd Founding Anniversary, underscoring the institutionโs continued dedication to innovation and excellence in higher education.
The S.T.R.E.A.M. 2026 Forum concluded with a strong affirmation of collective efforts toward building an integrated and responsive higher education data ecosystem that supports informed decision-making and regional development.
