THREADS OF IDENTITY: CELEBRATE OUR STORY, OUR PRIDE

Yesterday, October 28, our campus came alive with the vibrant colors and rich patterns of our heritage! In observance of National Indigenous Peoples’ Month, our students, faculty, and staff proudly wore their traditional IP attire and accessories—honoring the ancestry and roots that define us.

More than just a showcase of woven textiles, it was a day of celebrating the beauty of our languages, vibrant cultures, and strong community spirit. Hearing our native tongues spoken across campus reminded us of the living stories we carry every day.

Indeed, Admirals are taraki, kagam-is ay il-ilan!
