Clean As You Go Blackboard Clean-Up Drive

May 16, 2026 – Saleng Building – A classroom clean-up initiative titled “Clean As You Go” was successfully conducted at the Saleng Building to promote cleanliness, discipline, and responsibility among students.

The activity highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment, which contributes to better focus and a more comfortable learning experience. Organizers emphasized that dusty and chalk-filled blackboards can reduce visibility during discussions and cause inconvenience to both students and instructors, particularly for learners seated at the back of the classroom.

The initiative aimed to address these concerns through a simple yet meaningful on-campus clean-up drive that encouraged active student participation and responsibility in maintaining classroom order.

The “Clean As You Go” drive was led by second-year student organizers and volunteers, who took the initiative to promote proper classroom maintenance practices. As part of the activity, reminders were placed beside the blackboards to encourage students to consistently observe cleanliness and treat the classroom as a shared space that should be cared for.

Overall, the initiative fostered greater awareness of cleanliness and responsibility, contributing to a more organized and conducive learning environment within the Saleng Building.
