Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) provides free drinking water to students, employees, and campus visitors through its on-campus water refilling station. This initiative helps ensure that members of the College community have access to drinking water without additional cost, supporting hydration, health, and well-being throughout the school day.
The College’s treated-water installation serves as a convenient source of drinking water for students and personnel during classes, work, campus activities, and other institutional engagements. By making drinking water freely accessible, CCDC helps reduce the need to purchase bottled water and encourages the use of reusable water containers, contributing to waste reduction and more sustainable campus practices.
CCDC also recognizes the importance of water quality and the proper maintenance of its water systems. Water samples from campus sources were submitted for laboratory analysis by the Department of Science and Technology–Cordillera Administrative Region Regional Standards and Testing Laboratory in October 2025. The results provide documented evidence of the College’s water-quality monitoring efforts. However, the reported results varied across sampling points, underscoring the importance of continued testing and appropriate treatment before water is made available for drinking.
Through its free drinking water provision, CCDC demonstrates its commitment to making essential resources accessible to the campus community while promoting responsible water use and environmental sustainability. By combining convenient access to drinking water with regular monitoring and maintenance, the College continues to support a healthier, more inclusive, and environmentally conscious learning and working environment.
