La Trinidad, Benguet | July 22, 2026 โ Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) further strengthened its internationalization initiatives through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (Memorandum of Understanding) with Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Kendari, Indonesia, establishing a partnership that will promote collaboration in instruction, research, extension, faculty and student exchanges, and other academic endeavors.
The delegation from Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Kendari, Indonesia, led by Dr. Abdul Kadir, M.Pd., Head of LP2M and Lead Researcher, and Muh. Kurniawan, M.Pd., Head of Global Partnership, was accompanied by officials from the Department of EducationโSchools Division of Benguet, namely Mr. Stephen Bulalin (SEPSโResearch), Mrs. Corazon Quipot (SEPSโMonitoring and Evaluation), Mr. Aladin Dobinto (Chief, Curriculum Implementation Division), Dr. Nestor Dalay-on (Principal IV, Benguet National High School), Ms. Delansa Delmas (Public Schools District Supervisor, La Trinidad District), and Mrs. Lorna M. Yaco (Education Program Specialist IIโPartnerships), together with a representative from the Provincial Government of Benguet led by Kenneth Kelcho, Provincial Tourism Officer. Upon their arrival at Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC), the delegation was warmly received by CCDC President Dr. Sherry Junette M. Tagle, together with Dr. Marina Sagandoy, Vice President for Academics; Atty. Annabelle B. Gondales, Vice President for Administration; Dr. Corazon L. Ocden, International Relations Officer; and Mrs. Rosaria Pes-oyen, Principal of the Basic Education Department, before proceeding to the ceremonial signing of the Cooperation Agreement (Memorandum of Understanding).
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was formally signed by Dr. Sherry Junette M. Tagle, President of Cordillera Career Development College, and Dr. Abdul Kadir, M.Pd., Head of LP2M (Institute for Research and Community Service) and Lead Researcher of IAIN Kendari. The signing ceremony was witnessed by representatives of CCDC, the Department of EducationโSchools Division of Benguet, and the Provincial Government of Benguet, symbolizing their shared commitment to advancing academic excellence, research collaboration, and international engagement.
Following the signing ceremony, the Indonesian delegates delivered a lecture to the fourth-year students of the College of Teacher Education. Dr. Abdul Kadir ย andย Muh Kurniawan, M.Pd. presented IAIN Kendariโs academic programs, research initiatives, and selected research findings that theyย haveย conducted.ย The session provided students with valuable insights into global educational practices, research, and international academic collaboration.
The visit concluded with a fellowship lunch hosted by CCDC, followed by a tour of Admiralโs Park, one of the institutionโs sustainability initiatives. The delegates explored the facility and exchanged ideas on potential collaborative projects, further strengthening the partnership between CCDC, IAIN Kendari, the Department of EducationโSchools Division of Benguet, and the Provincial Government of Benguet.
