Since 2000, in the History of CCDC College of Social Work, this school year 2018 – 2019 has recorded the highest number of Social Work Field Practitioners.
This first semester, we have 72 Social Work students who were assigned to different agencies in Baguio, Benguet, Ifugao, Mt. Province, La Union, and Pangasinan. Specifically, they are assigned to Municipal/Provincial Social Welfare And Development Offices (P/MSWDO), Non Government Organizations, and DSWD Regional Offices where they will be trained in proper handling of cases of different individual clients and their families or CASEWORK.
For this semester, they are required to comply the time requirement of 500 supervised field work hours as per RA 4373 (Social Work Law). The Field Instruction (FI) 1 started on August 11, 2018 and ends on December 14, 2018.
Good Luck Social Work Student Practitioners and God Bless.
