Admirals Stun Navigators Sans Lee

The CCDC Admirals stun the SLU Navigators, 91-56, Sunday at the CCDC Admirals gym hoping to secure a final 4 slot in the semi-finals of the BBEAL Season 33 Men’s Basketball Tournament. CCDC claimed a 2-winning streak after winning also over the BSU wildcats last Saturday. SLU grabs its first loss in the tournament.

The Admirals maintained their tight defense all throughout the game allowing a 0% field goal in the 3-point-range from the SLU Navigators.

Bryan Gravilezwaxed hot all game as he claimed most of the rebounds and points in the paint. The hot shooting from long-range built up the bulk of the 18-point second quarter from Jamil Ray Remiendo and Trias Edward Jr.. Biggest lead was 32-points.

Mhenard C. Ugalino and @Neil Ulep cleaned up the offensive boards setting putbacks to advance more the lead. Jocas Bautista and Ceejhay Tuazon contributed on the transition.

However, Will Keane Camello Lee filed his leave of absence due to personal matters to attend to.

The Admirals stand 5 wins-2 losses and will resume their last match of the elimination round against the defending champion UB Cardinals on Thursday, Oct. 31, 4pm at the CCDC gym.
