Admirals Fall to the Jaguars

CCDC ADMIRALS GRABS SECOND LOSS.

With Admirals Lee and Gravilez tendering their suspension due to skirmish against 4 players from BCT Atoms in their game yesterday, the Admirals suffered another loss against the UC jaguars, 85-92, October 20 at the UB gym.

With CCDC losing 2 key players, the UC Jaguars took advantage as they dominated both in offense and defense. A gallant effort showed by UC Jaguars Matbagan, Elefante, and Valdez where they broke the full court press of the Admirals.

The Admirals adjusted their offense by executing a two guard formation placing Remiendo and Bautista together. Ulep hustled his way on the offense as he was living his scores on rebounds and points in the paint. Tuazon also contributed from transition baskets. Ugalino and Trias contributed their long range shots which brought the score to at least a 4-point difference early in the second half.

In the dying minutes of the fourth quarter, the Admirals committed 3 turnovers that resulted in transition baskets and alley-ops.

The CCDC Admirals still stands 4th in the rank with 3-2 standing..

They will resume their match against the BSU Wild Cats on Saturday, October 26, 1pm at the UB gym.
