The CCDC Career Guidance and Marketing Team set an ambitious target for 2025: ensuring that at least 15% of all new admissions come from the bottom 20% household income group in the country. This initiative directly aligns with CCDC’s core advocacy—bringing quality higher education closer to those who need it most.
In 2025, CCDC recorded a total of 1,839 admissions. Of these, 356 students (19%) belonged to the nation’s bottom 20% household income bracket, successfully surpassing the original 15% goal. CCDC benchmarked its socioeconomic data using statistical guidelines from the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS).
This achievement is a direct result of the Career Guidance and Marketing Team’s dedicated outreach to far-flung public high schools and out-of-school youth who had previously paused their education due to financial or geographical constraints.
According to College Registrar Dina P. Amdos, CCDC is determined to sustain this momentum by expanding its marketing and scholarship promotion efforts. The CCDC Scholarship Office actively assists students in securing both institutional grants and external funding opportunities, significantly easing the financial burden of a college degree. Through these continuous efforts, CCDC remains committed to opening doors of opportunity—ensuring that poverty and geographic distance never prevent deserving students from pursuing higher education and building a brighter future.
