A milestone of perseverance, professional formation, and continuing commitment to Social Work
LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET โ The Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) College of Social Work proudly celebrates the successful licensure examination journey of its graduates following the September 2026 Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE), in which 45 CCDC Social Work graduates emerged among the successful examinees and are now welcomed into the professional community of Registered Social Workers (RSWs).
The September 2026 SWLE was administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 9, 10, and 11, 2026, across testing centers throughout the Philippines. The PRC reported that 8,383 out of 10,991 examinees passed the examination, corresponding to a national passing rate of 76.27%. The examination was conducted in 18 testing centers nationwide, including Baguio City.
For CCDC, the examination was particularly meaningful as its Social Work graduates took the three-day licensure examination in Baguio City, joining fellow aspiring Social Workers from different parts of the country in undertaking one of the most significant professional milestones in their journey.
The PRC released the September 2026 SWLE results on September 17, 2026, three working days after the final day of the examination.ย
A National Examination, A Personal Journey
Behind the national figures are thousands of individual stories of preparation, sacrifice, uncertainty, faith, and perseverance.
For the CCDC examinees, the journey toward the September 2026 SWLE was built upon years of academic preparation, field instruction, classroom learning, community engagement, professional formation, and the continued guidance of faculty members, mentors, families, and fellow Social Workers.
The examination itself unfolded over three daysโSeptember 9โ11, 2026โrequiring examinees to sustain their focus and determination until the final day.
When the results were finally released, the achievement of the CCDC graduates became a moment of collective celebration for the College of Social Work.
CCDC Social Work Records 90.00% Overall Passing Rate
Based on the institutional figures for the September 2026 examination, CCDC Social Work recorded an overall institutional passing rate of 90.00%, compared with the 76.27% national passing rate reported by the PRC.
This represents a 13.73-percentage-point difference between the CCDC institutional rate and the national rate.
The College also recorded a 97.62% passing rate among its first-time takers, reflecting the performance of graduates taking the licensure examination for the first time.
These figures provide an important institutional snapshot of the September 2026 examination and, more importantly, represent the individual efforts of the graduates who undertook the examination.

The transition from Social Work graduate to Registered Social Worker is more than a change in professional designation.

For the 45 CCDC passers, this achievement marks the opening of a new chapterโone that calls for continued learning, ethical practice, compassion, professional accountability, and meaningful service to individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
Their success is therefore not viewed simply as an examination result. It is a significant milestone in their continuing formation as professionals.
A Community Behind Every RSW
The CCDC College of Social Work also recognizes that professional success rarely happens in isolation.
Behind every passer are parents and families who provided support, friends who offered encouragement, faculty members who shared knowledge and guidance, field educators and agency partners who contributed to professional formation, alumni and Registered Social Workers who served as examples, and countless individuals who believed in the examinees throughout their journey.
The September 2026 SWLE thus became not only a personal milestone for the graduates but also a shared moment for the broader CCDC Social Work Family.
The Collegeโs AYUYANG ti RSWโs Program Series 2026 further reflected this spirit of collective support by bringing faculty, students, alumni, and members of the Social Work community together to provide encouragement, wellness support, and on-site assistance to the examinees during the licensure examination.
