La Trinidad, Benguet — September 2, 2026. Young Admirals from Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC), representing the Junior High School and Senior High School Learner Secondary Government (SSLG), together with talented student-artists, actively participated in the Municipal Youth Summit 2026 held at the La Trinidad Municipal Gymnasium.
The summit provided a meaningful platform for young people to enhance their leadership skills, strengthen their capabilities, and amplify their voices and advocacies as active partners in their schools, organizations, communities, and nation-building efforts.
The CCDC Young Admirals engaged in insightful discussions on the role of youth organizations as partners in nation-building, Artificial Intelligence, and Ethical Awareness, and “MaVOTING Usapan,” which highlighted the importance of informed and responsible decision-making in choosing political leaders.
Beyond being mere listeners, the Young Admirals actively participated in the various activities and discussions throughout the summit. Their enthusiasm and willingness to engage reflected CCDC’s commitment to developing responsible, empowered, and socially aware young leaders.
Adding color and creativity to the event, the CCDC student-artists also showcased their talents through the On-the-Spot Poster-Making Contest organized by the Commission on Human Rights (CHR), demonstrating their creativity and commitment to expressing meaningful messages through art.
The Young Admirals expressed their gratitude to the Local Government Unit of La Trinidad for providing an avenue where young people can learn, connect, express themselves, and develop their leadership potential.
The Municipal Youth Summit 2026 served as a valuable reminder that when young people are empowered, informed, and given opportunities to participate, they become stronger partners in building a better community and a brighter future.
