The activity gathered key stakeholders, including representatives from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Maam Fely Ann P. Balusdan overseing the BSOA and BSEntrep curriculum review; Ma’am Christine Soriano overseeing BSHM and BSTM , CCDC Vice President for Academics Atty. Abigail Bersamin, CCDC Registrar Ma’am Dina P. Amdos, distinguished alumni from Entrep Desiree Salming, BSOA alumni Ms. Odessa Dalmacio, Ms. Maiel A. Comiles, BSHM alumni Eceanlyn Carame, Melanie Kimbungan, Mark Kenneth Benguet, faculty members BSHM and BSTM Faye Aranca, Venus Labbutan, Shirley Sabiling, Mae Guilanda, Ayson Depayso, Faculty members from BSOA Meriam Felix- Gapad, Maritess I. Pimentel, Faculty members from Entrepreneurship Jazzel Balusdan, Jean Langan, Mark Janzent Segundo, Christine Paayasand student representatives from BS Entrep Ivan Lamsis, Raiza T Balang. The collaborative review aimed to ensure that the academic programs remain relevant, industry-responsive, and aligned with current national standards and global trends.

The presence of CHED representatives provided valuable insights into policy updates, compliance requirements, and quality assurance measures. Alumni participants contributed practical industry perspectives, highlighting essential competencies and emerging demands in their respective fields. Meanwhile, faculty members presented proposed curriculum enhancements, while student representatives shared feedback based on their academic experiences.

Discussions focused on strengthening core competencies, integrating technological advancements, enhancing experiential learning components, and aligning course outcomes with employability skills. The review also emphasized innovation, entrepreneurship, hospitality excellence, and administrative efficiency as key pillars of the programs

Through this collaborative effort, CBEA reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence, continuous improvement, and producing competent graduates equipped to meet the evolving demands of the business, hospitality, and entrepreneurial sectors.

The successful curriculum review marks another significant step in CCDC’s pursuit of delivering quality education and maintaining compliance with national standards while addressing the needs of industry and society.
