Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) Triumphs in Mathematics Quiz Bee at the 12th BPSA

Roniel Ryz Bagayao, a Grade 4 student from CCDC, claimed the top spot in the Mathematics Quiz Bee at the 12th Benguet Private Schools Association (BPSA) Science and Math Festival, besting 12 other participants.

“Roniel was truly a math wizard during the competition. CCDC is incredibly proud of his hard work, dedication, and accomplishments. He showed everyone what he’s capable of,” said Melvin B. Ngayaan, CCDC Sci-Math adviser and coach.

CCDC also excelled in other events, competing in the Science Quiz Bee and board games like Damath and Sci-Damath, alongside 14 other schools from Benguet on October 7, 2024.

In the Mathematics Quiz Bee, Amiel Paul Orata (Grade 6) and Vjwright Mohagher Nang-is (Grade 5) took 5th place, while Jan Yaeshawn Payangdo (Grade 3) secured 11th place.

In the Science Quiz Bee, Sherelle Kate Tagle (Grade 6), Samantha Gabrielle Lawagan (Grade 4), and Eunice Summer Calawod (Grade 3) placed 5th, while Vimarie Faye Waclin earned 14th place.

In Sci-Dama, Nathan Willard Gondales (Grade 4) achieved 2nd place, Elijah Gavin Esguerra (Grade 5) placed 4th, and Crest Jefe Bacbac (Grade 6) took 5th place.

In Damath, Kirk Ivan Anguitay (Grade 4) secured 4th place, while Princess Bandao (Grade 5) and Arhya Mhae Antonio (Grade 6) both took 14th place.

The students’ victories highlight their dedication to academics, reflect the support and guidance of their teachers, and serve as an inspiration to their fellow students, showcasing their hard work and perseverance.
