CCDC’s College of Social Work gears up for second semester

To ensure a smooth transition into the new term, the Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) College of Social Work conducted a departmental orientation on January 27, 2024, which was attended by 199 students (59 —1st-year students, 53—2nd-year students, 34—3rd-year students, and 53—4th-year students) out of the total population of 238.

The session provided essential guidelines, academic reminders, and policy updates. Faculty members discussed course requirements, internship programs, the calendar of activities, student support services, and guidelines and policies of the school and the department, while the event also served as a platform for students to raise concerns, clarify expectations for the semester, and engage with faculty and staff.

“The College of Social Work remains committed to equipping students with the knowledge and resources they need for a productive academic journey,” said Kimberlyn M. Valdez, the OIC of the College of Social Work.

Through this initiative, the College of Social Work reaffirms its commitment to equipping students with the knowledge and resources needed for a productive academic experience.
