CCDC visits PNU for Benchmarking

In an effort to strengthen academic and administrative practices, the Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) – College of Teacher Education (CTE), headed by its Dean, Dr. Juvy O. Baso, visited Philippine Normal University (PNU) on August 5, 2025, for a benchmarking activity.

Dr. Baso, along with her colleagues, Dr. Corazon L. Ocden (Research Director), Rosaria M. Pes-oyen (Extension Services Coordinator), Thelma T. Amayag (Chief Librarian), Marfrelyn H. Angyatao (Internship Instructor), Dr. Arlene L. Palasico (Program Coordinator for English), Laurence L. Ablaza (Program Coordinator for Social Studies), Jeffrey A. Abanag (Program Coordinator for Math), and Sharon L. Lictao (Mentors’ Society Adviser) represented CCDC CTE.

The activity commenced with a welcoming remark by Prof. Bryan C. Dayuta, Director of Linkages and International Office. Subsequently, a productive exchange of ideas on the best practices of CCDC CTE and PNU transpired. They shared insights on innovations in teacher education, curriculum implementation, faculty research initiatives, student development programs, extension programs, and other related matters.

Dr. Baso conveyed her gratitude to PNU for their warm hospitality and the valuable insights gained from the activity. She also expressed strong optimism for sustained collaboration between CCDC and PNU. Both institutions remain committed to enhancing partnerships and linkages to support capability-building initiatives for faculty and students.
