CCDC Strengthens Community Impact Through Health Leadership and Management Program

In a move to accelerate the implementation of the Universal Health Care Act, Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) is expanding its  leadership resource pool to enhance its impact across communities.

CCDC conducts a Health Leadership and Management Program (HLMP) 1 training course facilitated by Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF), last October 16-17, 2024, at Admirals Farm Park in La Trinidad, Benguet.

The program is designed to equip CCDC faculty and staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to support the Universal Health Care Act effectively. 

The HLMP 1 training course focuses on bridging leadership, primary health care, and social determinants of health. 

Together with this initiative is the Department of Health (DOH) – Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) aims to address health inequities and strengthen health system development under Universal Health Care.

Through HLMP 1 CCDC is able to fully engage with local communities not only with education but also in its extension program.
