CCDC Joins the Celebration of Ibaloi Day Through Legal Aid Activity

CCDC joined the celebration of Ibaloi Day on February 23, 2026 through the active participation of the CCDC College of Law in a legal aid activity held at Malcolm Square.

The legal aid initiative was spearheaded by SEMEK Cordillera Human Rights Hub and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Baguio-Benguet Chapter. The activity aimed to provide accessible legal assistance and promote awareness of legal rights among community members as part of the meaningful observance of Ibaloi Day.

Representing the CCDC College of Law were five (5) Law Student Practitioners, namely Edmarie T. Palukpok, Khant B. Baus, Jade M. Agustin, June Ray B. Cayabas and Gisela D. Bencio, who rendered legal assistance under the guidance and supervision of their supervising lawyers, Dean Alexis R. Agmata and retired Prosecutor Elmer M. Sagsago.

Through this initiative, CCDC reaffirms its commitment to community service, access to justice, and the practical training of future legal professionals.
