CCDC holds gift giving and cooking demo to RSCC

Even after the holiday season, Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) spread warmth and joy through a gift-giving activity and cooking demonstration at Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC), La Trinidad, Benguet last February 1, 2025.

This one-day activity was initiated by the Hospitality Management (HM) students and faculty under the College of Business Education and Administration (CBEA). This aimed to provide essential items to the children and share some practical cooking skills. One of the highlights of this activity was the simple cooking demonstration of the HM students in making cookies. The children also received gifts, including basic necessities and toys.

The Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) is a 24-hour residential facility that provides temporary care, protection, and rehabilitation services for children aged 0-6 who are neglected, abandoned, abused, or in need of alternative family care.

It also ensures the safety and development of these children through social work interventions while enhancing the competence of its staff in case management and rehabilitation services.

This initiative is part of CCDC’s commitment to community service, supporting the well-being of children at RSCC.
