BUYAGAN, POBLACION, LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET — Newly elected Supreme Student Government officers of Cordillera Career Development College formally began their term for Academic Year 2026–2027 during the Oath Taking Ceremony, Turnover Ceremony, and Financial Management Training held at Rooms T1 and T2 of the Arang Building.
The activity brought together 30 student leaders representing different academic departments of CCDC, namely the College of Business Education and Administration (CBEA), College of Accountancy (COA), College of Health (COH), College of Social Work (CSW), College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), and the Graduate School.
The program focused on the formal transfer of responsibilities from the outgoing SSG officers to the newly elected leaders, as well as training on financial management, administrative procedures, and the responsibilities expected of student leaders.
The program opened with a prayer led by Ms. Camerone Lane S. Clemente, outgoing SSG Senator. This was followed by the opening remarks of Ma’am Marfrelyn H. Angyatao, Student Services Director.
Outgoing SSG President Ms. Hannah Gweneth M. Busay then delivered her final message and shared the accomplishments of the previous administration, highlighting the experiences and responsibilities carried by the outgoing officers during their term.
The newly elected SSG officers, including the President, Vice President, Senators, Governors, and Vice Governors, formally took their Oath of Office, administered by Ma’am Angyatao.
Newly elected SSG President Mr. Cyril C. Cuanso, who also served as an SSG Senator in the previous administration, delivered a message encouraging the new student leaders to work together, fulfill their responsibilities, and serve the student body with commitment and cooperation.
The program continued with a message from Ma’am Aellin G. Carame, Extension Coordinator, who encouraged the newly elected officers as they began their responsibilities as representatives of the CCDC student body.
The afternoon also included training sessions designed to equip the new officers with practical knowledge needed in carrying out their duties.
Ma’am Lyle Kate Julian led the Financial Management Training, where the student leaders learned how to prepare clear and proper financial reports and handle student organization funds responsibly.
