Education Week 2026: Promoting Excellence and Holistic Learning

The College of Teacher Education of Cordillera Career Development College successfully conducted Education Week 2026 on March 11 to 12, 2026 as part of the institution’s 33rd Foundation Anniversary. With the theme Tinta at Tinig, the activity provided students with opportunities to showcase their talents, knowledge, and creativity through various competitions.

Guided by the philosophy that the student is at the center of the educational process, the event featured academic, literary, artistic, and musical activities that encouraged active participation across different levels. The Chalk Art Competition was participated in by elementary learners, while Junior High School students joined the Poster Making Contest, Damath, and Sci Damath competitions. The rest of the activities such as Quiz Bee, Spelling Bee, Spoken Poetry, Editorial Writing, Story Writing, and strategic board games were participated in by Senior High School and College students.

Notably, Senior High School students demonstrated strong performance and emerged as winners in several competitions that included both Senior High School and College participants. This reflects the institution’s commitment to developing competent and confident learners in line with its vision of becoming a center of quality education for culturally diverse and global learners.

The second day featured music competitions including solo, duet, and group or choir singing, followed by the awarding of winners. The event promoted creativity, collaboration, and healthy competition while strengthening camaraderie among students.

Education Week 2026 reflects the institution’s mission of delivering holistic, accessible, and inclusive learning experiences. It also highlights the values of being committed, culturally aware, dignified, and civic oriented. The success of the activity was made possible through the collective efforts of faculty, student leaders, and the support of the administration.
