CCDC Conducts “Sound Body, Sound Mind” Sports Clinic at Adoay National High School

Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC), through its Sports Department, successfully conducted the Sound Body, Sound Mind Sports Clinic at Adoay National High School at Kabayan, Benguet on January 14, 2026. The college extends its sincere appreciation to the school administration, faculty, and students for their warm welcome and enthusiastic participation.

The Sound Body, Sound Mind Program is the Annual Community Extension Activity of the CCDC Sports Department. It is regularly implemented in selected barangays and schools as part of the institution’s commitment to promoting health, wellness, and sports development among the youth.

The sports clinic aims to build strong, healthy, and well-balanced students by emphasizing proper exercise, safe training practices, and correct sports participation. Through guided drills, demonstrations, and interactive discussions, students were taught fundamental sports skills while also learning the importance of injury prevention, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Guided by the principle that every sport begins with a sound body, the program highlights the strong connection between physical fitness and mental well-being. By nurturing both the body and the mind, the activity encourages students to develop an active lifestyle that supports academic success and personal growth.

The success of the event reflects the shared commitment of CCDC and Adoay National High School to empower students through sports and wellness education.
