55th Fish Conservation Month

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR-CAR) celebrates the 55th Fish Conservation Month (FishCon for short) in this month of September 2018 with the theme “Kapag Karagatan ng Munisipal ay Inalagaan, Sasagana ang Yamang-Dagat ng Buong Sambayanan”. CCDC joined in the celebrations with the participation of our students in the Poster and Slogan Making Contest and Quiz Bee.

Berlendes Piscawen and Joshua Bucasan landed third place in the Poster and Slogan Making Contest while Kelly Earl Ignas, Khryzalyn Panyo, and Maricel Galawen finished 2nd place in the Quiz Bee contest. The winners were awarded last September 28 at the Cordillera Hall of BFAR-CAR, Baguio City, our students were accompanied by our Senior High School Coordinator Ma’am Amor Segundo. Congratulations to our students for a job well done on the said event and more importantly for raising awareness towards our endangered sea waters, we are proud of you!
