Project HEART: Honoring Exemplary, Attentive, and Respectable Teachers

Last October 23, 2025, the Cordillera Career Development College Senior High School Department held its much-awaited Teachers’ Day Celebration with the theme “Project HEART: Honoring Exemplary, Attentive, and Respectable Teachers.” The event was filled with smiles, laughter, and touching moments as students expressed their gratitude to the mentors who continuously guide and inspire them.

The event kicked off with a parade of teachers, during which students cheered and showed their appreciation to their beloved advisers and subject teachers. Right after, a photo opportunity took place in front of the stage, capturing the bond between teachers and their advisory classes.

The program officially commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the CCDC Hymn, both led by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG). The entire program was emceed by Luke Timbol and Kayleen Ayaos, who brought liveliness and charm to the event, ensuring the audience stayed engaged throughout.

Angelo James L. Ligmayo- SSLG Secretary delivered the opening remarks, expressing gratitude and appreciation for the teachers’ hard work and dedication. Afterwards, the SSLG showcased their presentation, which set an exciting and cheerful tone for the rest of the celebration.

The morning’s highlight continued with fun games, including Pinoy Henyo, Tumpak Ganern, and others, which brought endless laughter and participation from both students and teachers. An intermission number by talented dancer Arianne Kidatan also wowed the audience with her lively performance.

To add more fun, the SSLG distributed prizes, or what they called “ packages,” to each faculty member, making the event even more memorable for the teachers. Soon after the cheerful moments came the most touching part of the program, the heartfelt messages from students to their respective advisers and non-advisory teachers. Each message reflected deep appreciation, gratitude, and love, leaving many teachers moved by the sincerity of their students’ words.

Before the program concluded, a film viewing was held, featuring a video presentation dedicated to all the teachers. As the touching clips and messages played, token appreciation were also distributed to each teacher, filling the room with smiles, warmth, and gratitude.

Finally, the celebration came to an end with closing remarks delivered by Mhel Jane Bravo, who expressed the students’ collective appreciation for their mentors’ unwavering guidance and support.

The day was truly one to remember, filled with laughter, emotion, and gratitude, a heartfelt tribute to the educators who continue to shape lives and inspire dreams at CCDC Senior High School.
