Basic Ed Teachers undergo LMS Training to Reinforce Blended Learning

In response to the abrupt suspension of classes at the start of the school year, Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) organized an orientation and training on the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) for its basic education teachers on July 23, 2025 at the CCDC Board Room.

The training gathered the elementary, junior high school, and senior high school teachers. Leading the session were Dr. Dina P. Amdos and Dr. Arlene L. Palasico, who provided in-depth guidance and demonstrations on the use and integration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in classroom instruction.

During the session, teachers were trained on maximizing the LMS to facilitate learning remotely. As a direct outcome, participating teachers are expected to orient and assist their students in using the LMS to support continued learning both in and outside the classroom.

Dr. Sherry Junnete M. Tagle, school president, emphasized the importance of continuity in education during the training. “We need to let the students do something when they are at home to ensure that learning continues during class suspensions,” she stated.

This initiative reinforces the institution’s commitment to maintaining quality education and minimizing learning gaps through modern, accessible, and adaptive digital tools. It is a proactive response to ensure that education remains uninterrupted despite external disruptions, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
