Ensuring Professional and Personal Growth

Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) held a Faculty Development Program for college to strengthen work performance, last January 9, 2024.

Topics included in the program is the understanding of trauma informed care in teaching which was discussed by Chita Habon, CCDC Guidance  Counsellor

Meanwhile Marina Sagandoy, CCDC Guidance  Counsellor discusses tips and countermeasures to teaching in a dull, sleep-inducing way.

Also, the use of AI in education and research tools in the classroom that has significantly transformed teaching and learning processes was talked about by Thelma D. Palaoag,Graduate Program Coordinator of the College of Information Technology and Computer Science and as the Director of the University of the Cordilleras Innovation and Technology Transfer Office.

This program is part of the “Ashal Series” or learning series of CCDC. This reinforces the faculty members in the technology integration, teaching practices, professional development and changes in educational policies.

Faculty development provides education and support to enhance teaching and career-long growth through experience, research, and collaboration, benefiting all faculty members.
