CCDC was Recognized at the CHED ICONS Awards 2024 for Internationalization Innovation Achievement

Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) was recognized at the Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability (ICONS) Awards 2024 hosted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Manila.

The recognition celebrates CCDC’s achievement of being ranked 146th among the 300 most innovative universities worldwide, securing the top spot among schools in the Cordillera region.

CCDC also excelled in key categories, placing in the top 10 for leadership, 13th in funding, and 18th in entrepreneurial spirit in this year’s World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI),  with The Impact Ranking 1001-1500 showcasing the institution’s dedication to excellence and global impact.

CCDC President Dr. Sherry Junette Tagle received the plaque and certificate of commendation from CHED Chairman J. Prospero De Vera and was accompanied by commissioners Dr. Ethel Agnes and Dr. Shirley Agrupis.

Out of more than 3,000 higher education institutions in the Philippines, CCDC is among the institutions recognized for their outstanding contributions to internationalization and their role in advancing nation-building through education.
