CCDC: Dedicated in Innovation, Dedicated in Sustainability

From being global top innovative universities early last 2024 to being a sustainable institution, Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC)  is recognized in the UI Greenmetric World University Rankings (UIGWUR) 2024.

With an overall performance score of 40.85% in campus sustainability, CCDC ranks among the top 50th in the Philippines and 1115th globally.

With a total score of 4085 excelling across six criteria, the university garnered 780 in setting and infrastructure, 845 in energy and climate change, 600 in waste, 550 in water, 810 in transportation, and 500 in education and research. This recognition solidifies CCDC’s role as a forward-thinking institution committed to sustainability while serving as a benchmark for future improvements.

The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings evaluates numerical data submitted by participating universities to generate scores that reflect their commitment to implementing environmentally friendly and sustainable programs.

This ranks the universities worldwide based on their contributions to environmental sustainability, a pressing global issue. Established by Universitas Indonesia in 2010, the ranking encourages higher education institutions to adopt and prioritize green policies and sustainable practices.

In early 2024, CCDC emerged as the top institution in the Cordillera and secured the 146th spot globally in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI). The college was also honored at the ICON Awards 2023 as International Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability, further cementing its reputation for excellence and impact.
