Demonstrating its commitment to community engagement and public safety, Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC) proudly participated in the Neighborhood Watch Program Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign and Oath-Taking Ceremony held on August 29, 2026, at the Lednicky Hall, Municipal Hall, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Representing the institution were six (6) officers and members of the CCDC Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), who joined fellow community stakeholders, local government officials, and volunteers in supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening peace, order, and security within the municipality.
The IEC campaign provided participants with valuable insights into the objectives and significance of the Neighborhood Watch Program. The activity highlighted the crucial role of citizens, parents, educational institutions, and community organizations in promoting vigilance, cooperation, and active participation in maintaining safe and secure neighborhoods.
A significant highlight of the event was the Oath-Taking Ceremony, which was administered by Hon. Roderick Awingan, Municipal Mayor of La Trinidad. During the ceremony, participants formally pledged their commitment to uphold the principles and responsibilities of the Neighborhood Watch Program and to serve as partners in fostering a safer and more resilient community.
The participation of the CCDC PTA reflects the college’s dedication to supporting programs that benefit not only its students and families but also the broader community. Through active involvement in initiatives such as the Neighborhood Watch Program, the PTA continues to strengthen the partnership between the school, local government, and community members in promoting a culture of shared responsibility and civic engagement.
The administration of Cordillera Career Development College extends its sincere appreciation to the six PTA representatives for their active participation and commitment to the program’s objectives.
