Guiding Future Criminologists: Insights and Inspiration for CCDC 2nd Year Students

On May 19, 2026, the “Beyond the Blueprints: A Letter to Future Criminologists” activity was successfully conducted at Room T1–T2, 4th Floor, Arang Building. The activity was organized to bridge theoretical learning and real-world experiences in criminology, providing students with deeper insight into the realities of the profession.

During the activity, seasoned professionals shared their personal experiences as criminology students and practitioners. They discussed the challenges they encountered during college, the difficulties of review seasons, and the strategies they used to successfully pass the board examination. The speakers also emphasized the importance of discipline, perseverance, and maintaining mental strength throughout the academic journey.

Throughout the session, participants gained valuable insights into the realities of the criminal justice field. Sharing experiences helped students better understand the demands of the profession and highlighted the importance of both academic knowledge and personal resilience.

As a result of the activity, students were able to gain motivation and practical advice that will help them in their academic journey and future careers as criminologists. The session concluded with an open forum where participants asked questions and received further guidance from the speakers.
